Boot Barney?
Posted Saturday December 5, 2009 at 12:48 am by Dave Kopacz (district 1)

I'm a little curious about something. As those of you that went to End The Fed know, I was wondering out loud how many people across the state, hell...across the country, would be interested in actively campaigning AGAINST Barney Frank. Everyone in attendance seemed to be onboard and I got many positive replies from various personal email lists too.

Take the "BOOT BARNEY" Poll

I'm convinced that he's the most dangerous politician in the state and possibly the whole country. As a single citizen of the Commonwealth I can't solve the world's problems, but do think a lot of people feel similar to the way I do. Given the wavering support he received at a recent fundraiser he had at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, it appears his democratic base is showing serious signs of doubt. They're realizing Frank isn't delivering on his campaign promises and recent revelations indicate that he may have far more to do with the sub-prime collapse than he's willing to reveal.

Either way, I think the American people have had enough! Democrats, Independants, and Republicans deserve much better than this. I want to know how many of YOU would pledge your free time to helping the fourth district, the state, and the nation by focussing the power of the voter on Barney Frank's removal from power? The anger I see is non-partisan and the "Boot Barney" effort should be too.

Please enjoy the hilarious Barney Frank clip I found and take a moment to vote in the "Boot Barney" poll.

Head going to explode - Damn you Bonnie Fwank

So let me get this straight. Bonnie Fwank, chair of the powerful House Financial Services Committee, believes that an audit of this nations Federal Reserve Bank policy decisions would allow too much congressional scrutiny. Yet I see Article 1 Section 8 says "Congress SHALL have the power to coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures." Have we the people evolved so far away from reality that elected officials can make these public statements without notice let alone being hung for treason?

WASHINGTON, Dec 11 (Reuters) - The chairman of the powerful House Financial Services Committee said on Friday that proposals in a U.S. House of Representatives-passed bill to subject the U.S. central bank's policy decisions to more congressional scrutiny goes too far.

"I do think the Fed could be audited. I think it's totally important to us to know what they're buying and selling," Barney Frank, the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said on CNBC television.

But he said a House financial regulatory overhaul bill that passed on a 223-202 vote overreached.

"I think the amendment that was adopted went too far," Frank said. "I think it could give the perception that monetary policy is not going to be independent and that would have an inflationary effect in and of itself." (Reporting by Glenn Somerville; Editing by Dan Grebler)

Election Results

The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance!

It seems that what needs to

It seems that what needs to happen is for a Democrat to challenge him. This would weaken him and make him vulnerable next Nov. (if he won the primary).

Is there any Democrat willing to go up against Barney?

Stephen Ayer

Very Sad

Judging by the "Boot Barney" poll, it appears that only 4 people want to get rid of him. Nobody seems to care that he admitted to having paid Stephen L. Gobie, a male prostitute, for sex and subsequently hiring Gobie as his personal assistant. Gobie used the congressman's Washington apartment for prostitution. A move to expel Frank from the House of Representatives failed and a motion to censure him failed. WHY?

Only four people care that the July 3, 1998, Reliable Source column in The Washington Post reported Frank, who is openly gay, had a relationship with Herb Moses, an executive for the now-government controlled Fannie Mae.

Here's my prediction;unless the sheeple wake up and find their morals quickly, Frank will receive the usual flood of campaign money from the usual suspects and retain his seat without much resistance from the public he screws. And unlike Gobie, he'll keep taking your money instead of paying us for a good screwing. Very sad.

The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance!

Well Dave
It appears that Americans are not only asleep at the wheel, but the apathy is so thick that you could not cut through it with a diamond blade, a chain saw or even a 2 iron intended for Tiger Woods's Head. I voted in this poll and would certainly love to see more people vote to give Barney the boot. Unfortunately he might actually like it if it is placed properly.
