MassLPA Eastern District’s monthly meeting
Where: Endicott Estate 656 East Street, Dedham, MA 02026
When: August 18th 7:00 – 9:30
Why: To discuss all upcoming initiatives which include:
Lobbying the state house - This is an ongoing initiative focusing on lobbying against bad legislation and for good legislation. i.e.AGAINST S-2028, Gun restrictions andFOR 10th Amendment resolution, gun freedoms. We need more constituents from across the state to get involved.Please reach out to your network, get people to commit to at least one afternoon per month.We try to focus on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Please have any committed lobbyist to contact Bob, James or Danny Mac.
Constitution Day Celebration - (flyer) September 17th at Mass State House 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. We have confirmed with Sen. Bob Hedlund's office that we have secured the Great Hall or the Hall of Flags for this event. We are sending out an invitation to all legislators to come speak. We will see if any accept. Also Celia Hyde has confirmed that she will be attending to administer the reaffirmation of the oath to defend the Constitution. We are looking for more confirmed speakers in our network to speak.Suggested speakers, which need to be contacted and confirmed - Bill Gunn, Jim Wallace, Keith McCormic,Roland Gonsalves, Hal Schurtleff (I will call him), Bob Monahan (State trooper - I will call him too). Keep in mind that speakers will have to compact their speeches to 5 minutes in order to accommodate the limited time.
Senator Moore Protest - September 12th in Uxbridge Mass between 12:00 noon- 5:00pm.This project is also under construction. We are working on dual flyers one which is a wanted poster for treason and the other will be announcing the protest where, when and why.Also we are working on a newspaper ad, which will be advertising the same. I have found a generous donor to this effort. More to come....
MassLPA quarterly Convention- I am suggesting that we have this event on Saturday October 3rd as this is a full moon, where energy levels will be high. We need all the help we can get.
