CITIZEN Town Hall Meeting

Residents (taxpayers) of western Massachusetts are too often forgotten about and under represented in financial and legislative matters. Now our congressmen, during this time of serious economic crisis, has chosen to limit or, in congressman John Olver's case, completely decline to hold public meetings with his constituency. He said the first district was too large to see everyone so he opted to see no one. This is unacceptable!

Massachusetts citizens have had enough. People across the Commonwealth, especially western Mass, are working together to find venues in as many towns as possible, to have open public debate on the important issues that will effect us for generations to come.

MassLPA is proud to be working with Campaign for Liberty and Massachusetts 9/12 Project to organize and facilitate as many of these meetings as we can. Citizen comments and questions will be collected and delivered to the congressmen, to assure our individual opinions are entered into the public record. Massachusetts voters WILL be heard!

Don't allow yourself to fall for the government sponsored media imagery of a false party-line battle between the left and the right. Join us as we show the powers that be how civilzed fully informed people engage in debate and make educated decisions and let the Constitution be our guide.

Although invitations will be sent to ellected officials, we make no guarantees regarding their attendance.

Location: Sturbridge (Town Common Gazebo) 305 Main St.

Date: 8-30-09

Time: 3-5 p.m.
