Several years ago a well protected political secret began seeping into the realm of public knowledge. Citizens finally realized that their periodic vote at the local polling location didn't mean squat! People finally got tired of having to vote "for the lesser of two evils" at every election and better yet, started to ask WHY.
The moment a citizen discovers that roughly 0.002% of registered votes control ALL partisan ambitions, they become quite angry and a true threat to "business as usual."
The reason why Party insiders only acknowledge your existence during Primary & National elections is because they don't want you to figure out that the silent MINORITY is well within your reach. That's right! The key to a healthy constitutional government isn't locked away out of reach in DC or the State House. Taking back total control of YOUR Party is only as far away as your local Town or Precinct Committee.
"All government is local."
That statement is absolutely true! Every time your Party endorses and puts forward a candidate, those decisions all start at the local level. Every time your Party adopts a Platform that decides the general direction of the Party, that decision starts at the local level. EVERYTHING done officially by your Party MUST meet the approval of local Party representation.
Now imagine that the same-ole group of chronic insiders that has led your Party off a cliff has kept you in the dark all this time in a desperate attempt to protect their tenuous seat of authority. They're always happy to ask you to donate, canvas, donate, vote and then donate some more, but they never invite you in.
Here's how it works.
Each Town or Ward is allowed to have a Republican Town Committee (RTC) and a Democratic Town Committee (DTC). A "Ward" is just a smaller segment within a City. Large cities are simply broken down into manageable sized areas called Wards and are equivalent to Towns.
Each TC can have between 3-35 voting members and an unlimited number of Associate Members. Based on the total number of registered voters that voted in the previous National Election, each Committee is awarded a certain number of Delegates. For example, the ratio for this election cycle allowed for 1 Delegate for every 300 registered voters.
Each Senate District has elected State Committeemen....generally on male and one female. We have 40 districts which yields 80 State Committeeman. These Committeeman are elected by the members of local Town / Ward committee members, NOT YOU.
NOTE: State Committeeman are Delegates by default!
Each state has its own caucus and ONLY DELEGATES CAN VOTE at this caucus. Everything that's important to you and your Party takes place at this caucus!
This is a numbers game and the numbers are in our favor. We have to stop trying to change government by frantically hacking at the tree-tops and begin striking directly at the root! There is a great number of TC seats (and the associated Delegate sears) that remain unfilled and many CT's have folded up completely and just need to be revived...which is incredibly easy to do. It just requires good people like you to take your rightful seat at the table.
- Join your local Town / Ward Committee and bring with you as many constitutional friends as you can.
- Run for Delegate.
- Elect from amongst your constitutional members, your two State Committeeman.
- Then and only then will you see quality constitutional candidates from the Party.
Everything is decided by your average TC member, local Delegates, and State Committeeman. EVERYTHING! There's nothing that DC or the State House can do to stop YOU from taking your Party back to its roots.
Time is running out! Although some of the deadlines are coming due or have passed, current reports indicate there's still the possibility of snatching some vacant Delegate & State Committee seats. We're asking concerned citizens to call their local Committee, ask to become a member / Delegate and go to the caucus. They just might say yes because there are provisions within the bylaws that allows for these types of exemptions.
It's hard to believe that so much power over your Party resides so close, but it's true. That's why they really don't care if the local Committees are small or non-existant. It doesn't matter if the Quorum (for meetings they don't tell you about) is large or small, as long as they can have their few insiders doing the voting.
Find out if there is a vacant State Committee seat in your district. They rarely advertise these vacancies, especially if they don't have a fellow insider to immediately fill it. They won't tell you....you need to ask. If there is a seat open, please contact us immediately! We'll help you prepare and provide district specific information that you need or locate another in-district candidate.
We understand that not everyone is cut out for all levels of the project, but you are still a critical asset. In fact, we couldn't do it without you. Just by joining your local Town Committee, with people you already know and probably like, you can make sure those people willing to advance have you to elect them. Help us bring government under local control. Help us foster candidates that reflect values and will protect our Constitution.
NOTE: By providing the following Party specific information, MassLPA in no way opposes Third Party participation. Since we are working within a bicameral system and it's the two Parties that caused all the trouble, we'll be focusing our efforts on cleaning house there first. P.S. If you happen to come in direct contact with a career politician, MassLPA is not responsible for your potential dry-cleaning or lice treatments.
NOW LET'S CLEAN HOUSE!

It is a shame that the 2
It is a shame that the 2 political parties have taken over the democratic process. Especially when there is about as much difference between them as between 2 brands of cola.
I seems that in order to change the corrupt system it is required that we first join and support it.
Is there no point in being an independent?
Stephen Ayer
Competition is good...
I think the roll of the Independent was just validated. Yes, there's got to be a place for citizens to pool their resources when the two Party's stray off track. However, it's a numbers game within the system. Very few people actually attend the meetings and cast the votes that determine what the rest of us are left with (the lesser of two evils).
As long as there's always some thick-skinned individuals to assert themselves from within Partys and take back their local representatives (Delegates & State Committee), we'll have a chance at correcting our course.
Those that are willing to face reality know that it was Independents (and other non-invested people that actually read the bill(s) that decided the Senate race. Many Independents used to belong to a Party that ultimately abandoned them. They didn't leave the Party, the Party left them.
With dedicated Patriots pushing from the outside and Patriots pulling from the inside, there won't be any room for Liberal Progressives and the Neo-Con Progressives to exist. The rest of the Several States may go to hell in a hand-basket, but wouldn't it be nice to have a State Legislature that recognized Massachusetts as Sovereign once again?
