Posted Tuesday March 24, 2009 at 4:47 pm by StopCFR (district 2)

Last night, Springfield City Council members voted unanimously for the Marijuana Ordinance which slaps on an extra $100 to the original $100 fine.  Members from L.E.A.P.(Law Enforcement Against Prohibition), a lawyer from the ACLU, and our own Laura Jackson showed up to the meeting to speak out against the ordinance.  Laura was interviewed by News 22.  Read the full story and watch the video here:  http://www.wwlp.com/dpp/news/local/wwlp_local_City_wants_Stiffer_fines_f...

What's the status on this,

What's the status on this, has the mayor signed it yet?

You can count on it!

Mayor Sarno needs to hear from me and the Springfield voters.

"No politician has ever ended a war. Civil rights in this country were not won by a legislator but by a movement. Do not waste another single vote or a single dollar investing in your own oppression." ~ Adam Kokesh

Contact the mayor.

The mayor still needs to approve the increased fine. Call him at 413-787-6100 and tell him not to sign the ordinance.
